That's only three datapoints, and the trend has already been broken, because we reached ATH a couple months before the halving. That's also never happened before, so in that sense, it literally is "different this time." But I don't think "months before/after the halving" is a good metric in the first place.

Even though I agree with the notion that BTC's stock-to-flow ratio increasing will push its price up, it could just as easily be that institutions/whales have become aware of this fact and are now investing ahead of the halving.

That said, I think we've got a ways to go, but that it'll top out way closer to the halving (probably with a brief correction along the way).
