Maybe it’s because I’ve been getting more than 5 likes but tiktok is one of the best things to happen for artists. It provides a lot of different ways to post your art. Just slap on trending music and you’re golden. There’s a really good art community out there. At its most basic you have “trends” like a fuck ton of OC trends and challenges and people actually like seeing your OC?? People are willing to even help you out.

Even on tumblr getting people to give a shit about your characters felt like teeth pulling. New trends are always popping up so if you have art block it’s actually really good.
I’m by no means a successful artist and I barely get any likes but idk but posting on tiktok is just fun.

You can post anything you want. Process videos (either screen recorded or where you set up a camera)
As time goes on the trends get more and more lazier which is actually amazing. I remember people used to complain about how on tiktok you had to edit videos but you’re more likely to get better engagement if you just upload a carousel.
It’s not perfect but I feel like it doesn’t deserve all the hate it receives. You can be smart and use tiktok to springboard to other concepts (youtube, webtoon/manga, etc). Only difficult thing is translating any of that into money which isn’t my concern since I just do this for fun.

The no mature content option is really sucks. I've had to start adding random features like pasties, panties, and flower bras (like pic related) to my work in order to post there.

Unless they get some kind of actual investor in the millions of dollars in order to hire a real team for legal, features, server costs, and marketing so they can find a way to properly monetize it then it's probably going to be dead in a couple months. There's no way in hell donations are going to keep the site alive. Even shit like wikipedia relies on big time investors for the majority of their costs.

Any pixel artists here? I'm losing my fucking mind.
I'm trying to draw isometric and consistent.
The bottom platform is perfect, but once I try to draw in walls it gets fucked.

As you can see at the bottom I placed both lines consistently on the right pixel of the two.
But when I do the SAME thing at the top, regarding that the line is perfect all the way through, for some reason it doesn't match.
What the fuck am I doing wrong

I thought "Loomis is a /begtrap" was bullshit but I recently realized it's true after checking out Bridgman's head drawing technique. My improvement has been glacial with Loomis but I immediately saw rapid, significant progress with Bridgman.

If you open your eyes and listen with your ears you would have realized by now that everyone gets praise around here, /beg/ or /pro/. But when certain select people post that is when the tides turn.

My friend, I'll let you in on a trade secret that I've been using for the past few years. It's called Selective Isolated Reverse Trolling (SIRT). Patented art of mind games, this style of trolling pushes the community members outside of a circle leaving the targeted individual that the user (you or I) is truly after. Once they post thinking they're in good company and will receive praise you hit them with the negative shit.

You should expect the general you're posting in to tank in quality. This is expected behavior. It's no longer fun to just outright tank a thread on every single anon....this isn't 2015 anymore. Holding grudges on everybody is not feasible and a waste of time.

So if you're wondering why that's the case, that is the reason. Only a few people here on this board get SIRT'd.
