It's the opposite of a loser mindset. It's the mindset of someone who wants to succeed and improve. You should be getting mad that your work isn't good enough. You shouldn't be having fun. You should always look for something to improve, otherwise you won't get any better.

It's no coincidence that people who say they're having "fun" artwork look like shit. Because when they say they're drawing for "fun" it means they've given up on trying to improve or are satisfied with their current skill level. Which there isn't anything wrong with it, but It's a quitter mentality that will lead to stagnation and mediocrity.

How much "fun" will you have drawing the skull wrong for the hundredth time? How much "fun" will you have after hiding the hands for the 500th time? How much "fun" will you have drawn out of perspective for the 1000th time? "Fun" is just an excuse for lazy people who don't want to work to improve their art. Because putting in the time to improve is a lot of work. And work is not fun. It's work.
