You should also get your hands on Hackett's compilation of his philosophical essays and correspondences (it includes Monadology and Theodicy, but you'll need a to purchase the New Essays on Human Understanding separately. Some of his most interesting ideas and contributions are dispersed in his correspondences. You simply cannot claim to understand rationalist modern philosophy without having read Leibniz, and Malebranche for that matter. So go on, anon, complete the trinity of 17th century rationalist philosophy.

They are difficult to compare, because they don't cover the same works. I would say Hackett's compilation is of better value for the price you pay for it as it includes far more in its selection than Weiner's selection.
