An anon in a recently deleted thread said that the N64 had more million sellers than PS1. Because I can't reply to him anymore, I just want to tell him he's wrong.

It's interesting that the PS1 sold 3x as many consoles but most of its bestsellers sold about as well as N64 bestsellers. The reason is the PS1 obviously had a lot of diversity in software whereas N64 owners crowded around a few games. So, while 10% of PS1 owners bought FF7, a whopping 36% of N64 owners would have bought Mario 64
