It's in the name! The Material Editor adjusts how objects render in-game: You can change object textures, shaders, alpha masks, the order in which objects render on top of each other, etc...

However, I'm pretty sure the default in-game expressions (smiling, serious 1, smug, etc.) are connected to the custom headmod "Mococo_head" ported from MMD. That shaded expression is "Cartoony Smile" in-game used in "horny" faces, so I'm guessing that was the issue. Unfortunately there is no way to edit this whatsoever unless you're skilled in making custom headmods (hence why vtuber KK artists often just use the accessories from hatoko on their own cards instead of using the card straight-up).

Some texture modding is all you need to remove the blue/black shade though. Here you go!

New outfit? You mean that fancy coat one? Ldki's new Azki has that outfit. I like the hair on the second one better though, so I usually just put the outfit on the latter card.

I'm a lazy bastard and still use KK with RX13 and HF Patch 3.19.
Just make sure to install the most recent one to avoid any mod conflicts, as the newer chuuba cards tend to require newer mods.

Which one? This card blends a KK body with Hatoko's accessories to make expressions easier to work with (it's my preferred card). If you would rather just have the hatoko/wagon card, just ask and I'll provide!
