If you're a girl, it's still a crap shoot, but all you need to do is display at least a passing interest in video games and be able to talk naturally like you're discussing something with a customer at a fast food joint. If you can do that, you're above 90% of candidates already.
I know nothing about Iriam either, but I think someone else may know more about it. It sounds to me like a test to see if you have the literacy to download and use a Japanese app. So a very quick filter.

From a viewer's perspective, if the format is the same, you just need to be able to keep talking non-stop about random things, don't have dead silence, and you will do allright.
Also, don't be too worried about having only a few or no viewers at all, don't bring politics, just be yourself and people will like you (if you aren't completely unlikable that is).

Be careful, anon, about 70-ish%, 60-61 in total, of their JP streamers, of which there's like 86-87, are "retired." And a LOT of those "retired" Twitter accounts are just GONE, which is strange since several of them are still up. I'm not sure exactly how long they spent as Iriam streamers but I'd be careful, anon, to do some digging into how long those "retired" streamers spent streaming on Iriam to make sure you aren't signing yourself up for a black company.
